We Are Back!

The Napa Firefighters Museum finally has a new home. On August 24th, 2014 the Napa Fireghters Museum, located on the corner of Main and Pearl, was red tagged and deemed uninhabitable following damage from an Earthquake that shook our town and our Fire Department. The long standing Fire Museum was forced to shut its doors and Napa City Firefighters Association members and retirees began the laborious process of emptying the building and finding temporary homes for all of the historic artifacts that were housed in the museum. We were lucky enough to have the support of our community, and through a few generous donations were able to hold onto some hope that someday we would find a new home. After 11+ years our long search has finally ended and we have a new home. Located at 640 Soscol, we have purchased an old PG&E building that will adequately house our antique apparatus and other artifacts and displays. But, the work is not over, it’s just begun. The building needs significant retrofitting before we can reopen to the public. We will be leaning on our community to help us reopen and plan to make this space a Public landmark for both tourists and locals alike. Stay tuned for updates and give us a follow on social media.
